Extrusion:
Both horizontal and vertical extruders are used.
Silicone tubes and profiles of many different types
and shapes can be extruded. The company has its
own Tool & Die department which produces dies
for profiles, according to customer specification.

Injection
Molding:
Several injection molding machines are installed,
including all accessories necessary for LSR (Liquid
Silicone Resin) injection molding.

Transfer
Molding:
The plant incorporates different types and sizes
of hydraulic presses for transfer molding of silicone
products.

Compounding:
Degania Silicone conducts its own in-house compounding
of raw material. For each project, one of the many
existing compounds may be used, or a special one
may be created for a particular application.

Secondary
Operations:
Various secondary operations are carried out at
the plant, in addition to extrusion and molding,
including: perforation of surgical drains and catheters,
printing processes and assembly of various components.

Sterilization:
The plant has medical grade packaging systems. Private
labeling services are available. Finished, packaged
goods are sent for sterilization, either by method
of ETO (gas) or Gamma (radiation).
